Fluency & Vocabulary
The gust of wind came abruptly as I stepped outside that cool, crisp morning. I was still trying to absorb the events from the previous evening. I still can’t believe that my best friend believes that I told her secret. After I made a vow not to ever tell secrets. How am I going to convince her that it was not me? I continued to walk at a brisk pace, searching for my best friend in the park. I am always honorable and know that I would not betray my friend’s trust. Finally I found her! I ran up to her and saw our other friend, Emily, sneer at me from behind her back. I knew exactly what happened now. I hope my friend trusts me.
